Types of Dogs

Mobility Assistance Dogs - These dogs provide physical and mobility assistance to individuals with mobility limitations at home and in public.

Hearing Dogs - These pups serve as the ears for people who are deaf or hearing impaired by alerting them to sounds such as smoke detectors, ringing phones, a knock at the door, etc.

Guide Dogs - These dogs serve as the eyes for people who are visually impaired or blind by navigating around obstacles and alerting them to traffic.

Home Helpmates - These pups assist individuals in the home environment; they do not have public access, but assist with daily life activities within the home.

Guardian Dogs -
These dogs provide safety and companionship for children with Autism and other developmental disabilities by keeping the child from running into traffic, providing a friendly face in new, often intimidating social situations and helping control repetitive movements.
